A Message from the Chairman

Dear Visitors, Plant City Residents, Colleagues, and Friends:

The Officers, Directors, Ambassadors, and Staff of the Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce are pleased to present you with our new 2010 Membership Directory.

Not only locally but across America, we have all experienced tough economic times recently and, slowly, we have moved through unchartered waters. These are the times when people most question the value of their Chamber memberships and the strength of their community. For the Chamber, these times call for an evaluation of its services, an increased involvement of Board Directors, and an absolute desire to find new ways to support our members even more.

With that in mind, we are increasing the number of educational and networking opportunities for Chamber members this year. For example, we will launch a new Speed Networking Event where members can meet and introduce their businesses to other local business owners. We are also collaborating with Hillsborough Community College to create a Lunch & Learn series that will focus on a wide variety of subjects. This series will be of enormous educational benefit to our membership.

Over the years, the Chamber has developed a fantastic relationship with the City of Plant City. We fully intend to continue building on this relationship and offer any additional support needed through these tough times. Together, our collaboration will help to ensure that our Community is a stronger and better place to live

To our members, please know that the Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce is working tirelessly to support you, your business, and this great town. To those visiting Plant City, please enjoy everything that our wonderful Community has to offer. And to prospective residents, we look forward to calling you our neighbors and, most importantly, our friends.
